I did OTA 2 days ago with no issues. The only thing I noticed is my heated seat. It's not warm enough unlike the old version that I have to adjust from level 3 to level 2 when driving ~20 min because it gets pretty warm. Other than that the download was flawless.

I-drive update
The car finished the download/upload but I don't see how to start the upgrade. It seems to me that a few days ago it said "start upgrade" but I don't see it now and I could be wrong. Anybody have any suggestions? I have attached pictured.

Shut off the car, then next time you turn it on (don't start engine) it'll prompt you to upgrade.

I hope the developers at BMW are reading these posts as this last update was poorly implemented. It shouldn't be this difficult to install an update. That said, I'm pleased BMW is finally pushing OTA updates to X7 owners, just make them easier to install please!

Should anyone have it happen, a number of us have had issues with the update showing a "seat unlocked" code. It has to go to BMW for reprogramming to fix. BMW reports that it is very common with this update.

That wasn't standard on my 2020 X7. I had to pay $1700.00 for it.
