I have a 2021 X7 looking for a winter set up - i have M-sport Brakes, right now I have 22" wheels with summer tires. I have looked at the OEM set ups and not willing to go spend 4K on a set up. I found several aftermarket wheels, anyone have any experience with aftermarket wheels?
I attached few options. I'm being told 20" wheels will work fine, square set up. 5x112 Offset 30? 265/50/20 for tires. Any help would be appreciated! |

I picked up 4 of these https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires...Runflat%20Tire
a set of used 754M and TPMS for a touch under $3K, which includes refinishing one of the wheels. That reminds me that I have to finish that project :>). Offset depends on wheel width. 265/50r20 is just a tad too small for my taste, but I get that narrow is better for a snow tire https://www.tacomaworld.com/tirecalc...5r21-265-50r20 |

Several threads on this already, recommend a search.
Bottom line, yes, you can put 20" on there. Keep in mind, once you buy wheels, tires, TMPS, labor to put it all together, balance, program TPMS, etc, you're getting close to the price of an OEM package, and in many cases, exceed the discounted price you can get of the lower-cost OEM wheels. I went with OEM 21" package, and have zero regrets.

If you can put TMPS on it, they're rated for an SUV, and they fit the X7 bolt pattern, sounds great!

Gonna explore some more. So excited to find out 20" wheels will work with the m sport brakes.
Got the wife a set of 20" blizzaks last year for her x6. We ended up trading it in 2 months ago. I thought I was going to be stuck with the tires. Any recommendations on offset? Just curious if the 20" 740m wheels from the x5 will work on the x7?

My OEM winter set uses Blizzaks, and they've been awesome, for snow, ice, wet, and dry tarmac. Zero hesitations.

Saw that! Nice set up, I'm rolling with it says it fits over M sport brakes. And tire rack guarantees figment!

Just a quick update - some end of season sale on Blizzaks & Tire Rack. Got a 21" square set up with MSW wheels for 2,100$ will have to wait to see how they look on the x7, but more about safety then looks at this point.
