I placed an order on 9/27 and just couple days ago moved to 150🤷🏻*♂️. Allocations!

Woohoo just went into production and got my vin#.
I’m surprised it went into production so soon, when I called BMWgenius they told me week 49 build which put me between Dec3-9th.
Around when should I expect it at my dealership in NJ?

Production begins means your build is locked. You're two weeks out from your actual build date. So the genius was accurate in the dec3-9. Figure 3 days or so after it's built to get to the dealer in nj. So around dec 6-12.

You are using a good dealer. Mine is still at 150… I hope it remains the same production day. It’s been long 2 months from the day I placed an order

it happens. if they are running ahead of schedule they will pull in the build by a few days. my 8/1 build was actually done on 7/28 IIRC.

Going back to the topic. “Dispatched from the factory” how far away am I from seeing a car here? Any thoughts? East coast, MD

Honestly no idea abt travel time, but if you look at my old posts there’s one on how to track the shipping truck your vehicle is on, live, on a map 😂

your dealer should be able to tell you when the transport is scheduled to arrive. my guess would be a day or two, i suspect it might be at the dealer already since you are pretty close to SC.

Awaiting carrier assignment! The online status tracker is so annoying. When I checked at 6am it had flipped to waiting assembly line… where it sat ALL DAY… and now at 9pm…. Just jumped 6 more steps. I see it assigned to a truck 👀

The car is sitting on a truck, in a rest stop, about 15 mins from the dealership. GAAHHHH. The wait. lol.
