I’ve fit four 20” wheels and tires plus another four tires in my Grand Cherokee so I’m pretty sure four 22”s will fit in the X7.

with bench folded? yes.

with captains? can probably be done but not easily. would require a lot of prep of tires and interior to fit and secure tires, i think. problem is those wide ass rears. 12" wide. plus even with arm rests of captains removed, that space between the seats isn't wide enough for a front 22

Yup I’ve got captains.

i'm with you. would rather do something like what you did (arrange for alternate transport) or change them and store them myself, which is what i'm doing

I have captains also and I’m sure it would be an easy fit. I had 295/45/20s with wheels and 285/50/20 tires in the JGC. Everything was bagged so no prep needed besides lowing rear seats. I’ve transported countless wheels in my own cars over the years and swap them in my garage. I even perform 35” five wheel rotations on my Wrangler in my driveway. Those are about 100lbs a wheel. My preference is to DIY everything possible as I feel it lessons the chance of damage and I’m sure it’s done be properly.

If you do it take a couple pics. Would love to see optimal config.

For now gonna diy it and hopefully never transport them around. Floor jack, torque wrench on standby for the change a couple weeks from now

These are what you ordered:

Note that they look just like the stock X7 753 wheels, but in black. I actually want to do these on my X7 factory order, but are indicated to be only available on the luxury line, and I'm ordering the M-sport line. Maybe I'll just do a winter package with these, just like you are.

These look great. I just ordered these as well. I'm going to wait until Early Nov to switch out my 22's though.

i put mine on a little earlier than normal cause i was antsy. style 754m.

anyhow, if you're someone that likes using a floor jac and likes the redundancy of a jack stand, renn stand makes a great product.

here's a nice video of how it works.

how do the blizzaks feel and sound? Also do you notice any difference in corning on the 21" vs the staggered 22"?

Did your TPMS sensors connect to the TPMS automatically or did the tire place have to train them?

Four Blizzak's were $996, four wheels (DRG DR 69, 20x8.5) were $784, four TPMS sensors were $240. Including the lifetime warranty, and discount the total, including 10% tax was $2,237. I think they look great and I know they will do the job in the winter.
Sorry I meant to include the quote. Did your TPMS sensors connect to the TPMS automatically or did the tire place have to train them?

hard comparing the two unless it's on the same rubber in the same season. happy with blizzaks thus far, though.

even before the snow comes, you can feel better grip as the temps go 50F and lower.

Garage List
Discount tire installed the wheels and I assume updated the TPMS sensors, I didn’t need a trip to the dealer. I see the sensors working. I have not noticed any real difference between the 22’s and the 20’s, maybe a little quieter, but the x7 is super quiet anyway. I’m eager to get it on snow and see how it does...

Thanks. One last question - are your Blizzaks runflats?

For what it's worth, I ordered the 754M winter wheel/tire setup from getbmwparts.com last week - said it was a special order and that they were on back order - wheels will be delivered tomorrow.

I got set with Blizzacs and I have to say that driving comfort is pretty good also handling, it is hard to say if they are noisier then the summer tires. I am happy but have not tried snow yet

I got the 754M and I am happy with my choice so far. We installed them 3 weeks ago. $4k for the entire set at my dealer.
