Does the X7 Have Easy Exit/Entry? If Not, Can It Be Coded?
Easy exit/entry is when the seat will move back and in some cases the steering wheel will move up when the engine is secured and door opened, allowing an easier exit of the car. Subsequently when you enter the car and close the door, the seat and steering wheel will return to your saved driver position. In the F-Series cars, this functionality came standard on the 7-Series and 5-Series, but not the 3-Series. I prefer a driving position closer to the steering wheel, so in an effort to save my side bolsters (and get in/out more comfortably), I coded this on my F80 M3 and it works great.
I test drove an X7 a while ago but don't remember if it had this feature. I had an X5 loaner not too long ago and the steering wheel moved upon exit/entry, but not the seat. So can anyone confirm if this feature is available on the X7 from the factory? And if not, is it codable? Thanks!

Not surprised I guess. So I guess the next question is, is it even possible to code this functionality given the complex motorized seat movements for all seats, programmed from the factory, when moving the second row seats for either entry/exit to the third row or when folding the second row down for maximum cargo space in the rear....
