So I started noticing tons of x7's on the road. I needed to do something to stand out. While I have my winter set on. I was looking into buying new rims then a friend suggested powder coating. So I found and shop and initially choose to have it painted black. Then I saw the M5cs with bronze rims and I was like what if. Well they just sent me a pic of the rims. Didn't pick it up yet to go on the truck for obvious reasons ( it's cold in NYC and snow is expected again ). But I can't wait to see what it would look like. I also ordered lowering links and a 200 cell catted down pipe.

I have not seen one X7 where I live. That said, I am really thinking about powder coating the 22”ers gloss black.

What color is your X7?

That is bas a$$. I've got bronze wheels on my firecracker red Jeep Wrangler and it looks great. Post pics or if anyone can photoshop these onto an X7 that would be cool.

Just like Olekiller, my next door neighbor has an X7 as well. I didn't even know until the week after I ordered mine. Then the house down the street has a Wrangler Rubicon as well, but they are everywhere in Colorado. Besides my neighbor's I haven't come across another X7 yet in Colorado Springs.

I probably see 5+ X7's a day in STL. Oddly most of the time they're M50's.

Those would look hard on black X7. Post pictures when you get them mounted. I bet you won't wait until Spring to test mount at least 2 wheels one side so you can get a visual 😂

Literally the third sentence in the post. Powdercoat is a stronger finish than paint.
