Carbon and leather steering wheel cover

Has anyone installed this M performance steering wheel cover? Is it easy to install? I like the look and ordered this along with the carbon fiber paddles. Dealer said they come direct from Germany, so 3-4 week lead time in case anyone else is considering ordering. Thanks!

I believe you loose the heated steering wheel function with that.

It's a cover correct? Man, I just can't imagine making the steering wheel any bigger around than it already is. This thing probably makes the steering wheel as big around as the handle on a baseball bat. Maybe bigger.

Interesting. Definitely post here once you get it and install it. Found some install videos online and looks like you have to remove the steering wheel to properly install it.

Good point, because I was worried it would be too thick. I'll check the online videos mentioned.

That's just for the button placement.
With Alcantara, you'll lose the heating.
If you have Traffic Jam Assist, you will lose that too since the steering wheel touch sensor is no longer available.

I believe this is only the steering wheel cover piece ( Carbon fiber with the Alcantara) , doesn't include the steering wheel.
so you will not lose functions of the steering wheel. Its a cosmetic upgrade

you need to disconnect battery , remove airbag and swap out the cover , pretty easy

here is a non oem one for reference
