Car won't creep

I just picked up a X7 and noticed something very annyoing. The car wont creep forward after coming to a compete stop. This is extremely annoying when trying to park the car in the garage for example. Is there a setting somewhere that is making it so one has to tap the gas pedal to get the car to move after braking?

The engine is not turning off, so I don't think it is an auto start/stop issue.

Most luxury vehicles by design are suppose to not drift forward after a complete stop. I have never seen this to be a issue when parking in my garage. You can deactivate the “auto hold” feature down by the gear shifter. That can help smooth out take offs from a stop.

Sounds like Auto H is engaged, check the button near the gear shifter.

FYI: Auto hold is the lowest left button below the shifter.

That “auto hold” will get less grabby with some miles on it. My last G05 was so grabby that I could hear it thump when it would let go with a slight pedal press. I turned it off until I had a few miles on the new brakes. It smoothed out.
