just got the canvasback and love it. thanks for the original post on this! I also have the bmw cargo mat and was not a fan of it... shape is awkward with it's indentations and would slide around easily when the 3rd row seats were down.

Hi - does anybody have any advice for how to install the BMW all-weather cargo mat. For some reason mine just doesn’t seem to line up right and I feel very silly (ie. stupid) for not being able to get it to work. It looks bulky and doesn’t let the trunk close properly half the time. I must be doing something wrong and even called the dealer that sold it to me and they were even more useless than I feel right now. (I did confirm it is the right mat for the X7 but the dealer thinks maybe there was a production flaw but I’m not so sure about that)

Just ordered the canvas back. I'll sell my OEM rubber mat if anybody wants it.

Rubber mat that cover the 3rd row

Up until now, there is no OEM option that cover all cargo area when 3rd row down? Anyone tried G05 version PN 51472458567? Believe it would be shorter but how well that would fit the width if I do not mind the gap at the far end? Thanks!

Don't know, but would be curious if someone does try it!
