I was watching some videos on YouTube about this and the headlights had a cool startup sequence which showed the beam splitting. If you code that on our X7, will that also change the startup sequence?

Can someone post a video of the startup sequence with Anti Dazzle coded? Especially with the standard LED headlights if that makes a difference.

The headlights move up and down and kinda "dance"

You need to see it.

Can this be coded with BimmerCode? If yes, which option is it?

No, and according to BimmerCode support, they do not plan to add that capability in the future either.

What a heck? I have anti-dazzle feature but don't remember any startup dance sequence of my headlights.

Is that only for LEDs or Laser as well?

You have had your car aftermarket coded for anti-dazzle? Not just the no-dazzle that comes with every USA X7?

Yes I have.

No dancing sequence or beam splitting on start up.

Just a dip of the headlights and self leveling.

So there seems to be a discrepancy.

Yes. there is. One person says there is a startup dance of the headlights after coding and another says no there isn't.

Can someone clarify?

This is exactly how mine function, both startup function and when on the road after coding.

Yeah, not only is anti-dazzle cool, but it's extremely useful and functional too. Being able to brightly illuminate the road and surrounding terrain, to see hazards, while having no illumination severity for cars in front of you (same direction or oncoming) is very useful. USA, better get onboard.

One thing I'm curious about, is there any way to override anti-dazzle once you have it? Specifically to flash your brights at oncoming traffic for any reason? Or if you try to do so, does the anti-dazzle kick in and prevent flashing in the direction of the traffic?

Exactly. In fact, it's so useful that it also helps cars in front of the car with anti-dazzle.
My F15 was able to light up trenches by roads with hidden animals several times and save ass of cars with their headlights off.

Somehow i'm can't wrap my head around why it's disabled for USA cars by default.

It does not comply with US laws...that's why it is disabled.

Yes.

Pulling the high beam stalk will flash full high beam and when released is still in automatic mode. Pushing the stalk will lock it on and take it out of automatic mode.

Yup, because the US government lags, and is slow to keep up with technology, even when it improves safety

Because everything here is run by politicians instead of scientists and as you know politicians suck and are motivated by special interest groups!!
