The car as such is a technological master piece, no doubt!

The combo of the X7 as a massive SUV, near truck, with the somehow clumsy Alpina transformation does give the impression it came right out of a marvell comic book. A massive grill of unprecedented size, massive wheels that look way too small, chrome pieces coming from the eighties a distinctive colour scheme!

Don't get me wrong, I admire this machine, but it's a balance act between art and kitsch. To me it's art, but it will not for many I'am afraid since they don't know what a gem it really is.

The whole thread is like visiting an alient planet. Im seeing vintage Alpina wheels with big sidewall, Im seeing people saying how 23in wheels are nice. Amazing.

In your opinion, which SUV out there would you consider attractive?

We have a new Cayenne coupe and I feel this x7 superior in terms of aesthetics, from the front.

It's nearly impossible to make a 7 seat SUV look good.

Looks are always subjective. I personally do not like the alpina wheels and tacked on looking body parts. But, let's rejoice in the 612hp and tuning modifications! It's a beast!

Definitely your opinion but like most, I LOVE the front end. Very stylish and aggressive or classy depending on which trim level you get and it also has "presence".

I agree. That steering wheel just looks wrong for that car. They should have used the M Sport wheel.
