X7 hitch cover?
I just got a new 2021 X7. I usually do a custom order but it had everything I wanted plus I needed it before the end of the year for business expense which worked alright.
It did come with a tow hitch installed which I feel spoils the clean rear bumper look. If I had a custom order I would get the stealth hitch. Is there a cover that can be used to cover the hitch when not in use? I googled and looked but couldn't find anything?

https://www.shopbmwusa.com/product/5...ER-HITCH-COVER But not the X7, and I'm not aware of any aftermarket company that does. Small consolation, but these are readibly available from both BMW, and tons of aftermarket companies: https://www.shopbmwusa.com/product/8...TOW-HITCH-PLUG Congrats on the rig! |

Yeah, despite the picture there, the description in that first link describes a panel covering the entire hitch assembly. Only for some X5's though. Nothing for the X7.

I looked into this when I first got the x7 and I don't believe there is any options on this. The euro models don't have the cut out and use a different hitch but US models don't have a choice. |

I am positive a body shop could easily make one using a hitch plate adapter. Wouldn’t be hard at all. It’s so low under the bumper I don’t even notice mine at all.
