Delivery Post - First New Car in 13 Years
Featured on BIMMERPOST.com Front tow hook cover was missing but the dealer is ordering a new one for me. Traded a 2007 Lexus GS350 AWD. Big step.up, and first new car in 13 years. On the bad news note, one of the first things I did was haul some stuff to my in laws. Unfortunaly, one of those items got a bit close to the third row armrests, putting a gash into the side and bottom of the third row armrests. 15 miles into ownership :-(. Anyone have an idea on what sort of damage it will be to fix this? I have Vernasca leather, but not leather dash so I think the trim is in leatherette. Geez, sorry, man. That is one thing about the X7 trunk. When the 3rd row is down, those armrests are still exposed. And I don't like how the 3rd row seatbelts are still on the sides too.

Sorry to hear about your incident with the rear seat gash! That sucks! The first cut is always the deepest! I, and many others, would be interested to know what version of iDrive you have on your new X7. Do you have Climate Control Rules for the Passenger? See below for instructions on how to check. You can read the discussion here. https://g07.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1808466. |

Thanks; appreciate it. Not as bad as I thought. May just leave it; when we use the third row, it will be with kids so chances are something else will happen to it over the next few years anyway.

Congrats beautiful car! Sorry for you man, hope you get it fixed soon.
Also, quick favor, can you post a pic of the front satin trim on this post? I am trying to get proof for my dealer. By zooming in, you car does not seem to have the problem I have on mine. https://g07.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1808540 |
