Just got my GT! (PICS)
Hey guys! I just swapped my 2009 VW GTI for a 2014 328i GT, and I love it! I'm rocking Alpine White with Venetian Beige leather interior.
I had the choice between a 3 series coupe and a 3 series GT which had the same numbers for my lease. I looked at the front - GT looks a lot more aggressive. Looked at the back - GT has a cooler looking tail, in my opinion, and a trunk that is more useful to the nth degree. Then I got inside, and it was a done deal - it is as big inside as my uncle's 7 series. My favorite part about my GT, though? It's the haters. I use my rear spoiler to wave goodbye to them as I drive away, lmao. Last edited by sooz; 07-15-2014 at 06:18 PM.. |

Unfortunately, it's pouring today so I wasn't able to take too many pics. I'll have to do more later! These ones in particular are from the day I leased my baby, though, so they're out in the sun. The man in the picture is the wonderful sir who helped me.
A bit of info about my car! This is BASE! It doesn't even have a line. The only options on my car are the comfort access package, heated seats, and rear camera/parking assist. I wish it had Xenons. And ConnectedDrive. AND THE UPDATED SOUND SYSTEM. If you're going to order one of these puppies, you oughta go for those options. |

Here are also a few pics I just snapped in my garage! Sorry they're pretty lame, I'm not doing these professionally or anything.
This is what the control console joystick-thing looks like with no options. Here is a lit up center console minus the display, with silver trim (is what comes base). This is what the dash looks like, fully lit up, without having the fancy extended whatchamacallits. It's all analog, and the screen lit up "BMW" displays time, temp, date, MPG, what have you. It also lets you change your music and make phone calls from that little screen with the controls in your steering wheel. And, this last picture is a shot of my 328i GT next to a fully loaded X1 Sport. Our cars are nose to nose in the front, and I'm standing directly in between them. Clearly... my car is massive. I have waaay more trunk and back seat than the X1, and my car is significantly wider, too, from the looks of it. I'll do a side by side comparison of my car to the X1 later when it isn't raining! |

I'm pretty sure that "base" models here in Austria do not come with fog lights nor autopilot. Not to mention automatic sport transmission... Have fun! (looking forward to a comparison with the X1) |
