Yes! Indeed, some dreams do come true.

Picked up the Dravit over Tartufo XB7 from Bill Jacobs in Naperville, IL.

I was waiting until I took some decent pictures before doing a post as we were in the dealership until after dark last night. Special thanks to all the people that stayed late to make the deal happen.

We hopped in her this morning and shot down to Lexington Kentucky for a couple days. The car is indescribably amazing to drive. I was worried about the ride with the 23" wheels, but to be honest I can hardly tell the difference from the 19's on the old 750.

I'll try to get some good pics and do a proper write up early next week.

Congrats! Can't wait for pics. Nothing like a ride trip in the new wheels.

Wow! Sounds like my 2019 50i just went up a few dollars in resale. We were considering trading down to a X5 45e but I think I'll pass for a while.

Thanks Mystro! Much appreciated!

I've already found it impossible to keep her under the speed limit.

Your doomed. These V8TT feel like they have a nuclear reactor under the hood with limitless power and the smoothness goes on all they way up into “triple digit“ lose your license speed and you won’t even feel it.. I also describe driving in town as a “dog on a chain”.

Welcome to the dark side. “Feel the power!”

I really wanted that alpina green / tartufo one at Knauz but it is 65k over what I can reasonably afford.

I need to build a lowly 40i once more options open up.

Keep working on the direction of your dreams. You'll get there! If I can do it so can you.

Congrats!!! What a beast. Yes, keeping these vehicles within a reasonable speed is challenging. I had some insane luck hanging over me when I drove my M50i from the east coast back to Colorado. So fun on the open highway. Enjoy and safe travels!

No, its an M50i

Thanks for clarifying.

This was the most unaware purchase in my life.

I took the M8 for an oil change and the dealer just received 2 X7s off the trailer so my brother and I grabbed them as our wives Escalade leases were due.

Fun to drive but learning about it everyday.

As a matter of fact, just yesterday we realized we cant fold down the second row seats all the way flat, unless you have bench.

Captains look great but are impractical af.

Yes! This car comes equipped with a dozen or so guardian angels that keep the speed traps at bay.

When you put your foot down the 80mph-120 happens so quickly it's kind of alarming.

Enjoy your ride man! Hoping to bring this beast to CO as soon as I get my winter wheel/tire situation sorted.

They are definitely a fun drive.

I told my wife if she really misses the size of the Escalade, Ill sell the M8, take the X7 M50 and get her a new Escalade.

I look forward to the weekends to drive the X7.

Congrats on the Alpina! Just glad you didn't do the deal with the clowns in Dubuque. They dropped the ball for me on two occasions with 50i X5 orders under both ownership groups. They actually crashed my custom ordered gran coupe moving into showroom and never told me. They suck.

Geez man. That's terrible.

I never intended on going with them, but for a time I was on a neurotic hunt for an in stock M50i and they were one of the few that had one with a trailer hitch.

It's a bit of a drive from Iowa but I recommended Bill Jacobs in Naperville, IL. They are the largest dealership in the midwest so usually are able to wheel & deal a bit.

I know! This RS6 and I were motoring through Kansas, and I got a chance to chat with the owner at a rest stop. He commented how fast and efficiently the X7 was accelerating through that range. That Alpina of yours is even more capable

When you get to CO, we can tear up the mountain roads!
