Not even the Scuderia demands a 100% price increase over an F430. It's amazing that the engineers at Nissan could be so talented, and build something so amazing and impressive, just to let it get destroyed by the corporate idiots running the show over there. I really feel that the engineers built something to open the eyes of many sports car manufacturers, but the cars legacy is in serious question with the VDC thing, the mid year price increase, and now the V spec: For the price of ANOTHER GTR, you get carbon fiber pieces, candy paint, powdercoated wheels, exhaust, and better brakes.

the car is engineered very well for the $80k price tag. With it doubling to $170, there is no value in it.

Don't gt me wrong.. Nissan makes a decent car. Hell, I own one. But 170K? Why one wouldn't purchase a Ferrari instead is beyond me. GT-R is a fast car NO DOUBT. But a Ferrari is an experience. I don't get it.
