I'd love to know the real differences from the 2019 model, are the exhaust and seats different, primarily? Also the visual cues, wish the pictured had the shadow line trim package.

The M is becoming a bit tooooo much. Really diluted the allure and value of pure M. Same with AMG as well. May a few M special edition a on top of true M, but not on every model.

I looked at the X5M and not only is it outdated when compared to the current generation it’s also not big enough for our family. Vehicles are not one size fits all so what is a waste* and a no brainer to you is the perfect fit for others. Thanks to BMW we have many options.

Lol finally somebody said it.
Even as short as 10 yrs ago who would've thought we'd see an M badge on such a behemoth. It's not even a real M division product. I can tolerate an M badge on the door sill of a car, but an M badge on the back of a non-M car? BMW is all about the ///Marketing now.

And also, the X7 is amazing. Totally a place and time for it. I'd drive one over a GLS 550 all day, and every other competitor is light years behind. Also fact. But not fair to say the F85 is outdated. If you can afford a X7 "M" you can afford an X5M so I'm assuming you were motivated by size for your family. I respect that. I have a growing family too. But, if you can squeeze into the X5M, you'll find that 98% of the time when you don't have a car full of kids, you're much happier. 🤗 |

I prefer for everyone to be comfortable and not have to squeeze. 98% of the time my kids aren’t with me I’ll be driving something else. Even so I’m sure I’ll be more than happy when I’m behind the wheel of my M50i. Again one size does not fit all. We all live different lives and have different needs and wants. |

They need a new letter for performance models not ///M. Or else will become like AMG. At least Audi reserves RS for special cars
