Assisted Driving has to be turned on by the button on the steering wheel.
Are you sure it's not Lane Keep Assist? That is what keeps you in your lane when over I believe 40 MPH. However, if you try to change lanes or merge without using your blinker it thinks you are drifting. When I use my blinker I do not have this issue it's only when I do not. Does it still do it when using your blinker? You should be able to turn it off in Settings > Drivers Assistance.

I don't think you are asking the right question the Active Driver Assistant is something you have to turn on by pressing the button on the left side of the steering wheel. They system that you want to disable is "Active Steering Assist". This is the system that intervenes when you get too close to the lines on the road or you try to change lanes without a turn signal. This system in my opinion is not ready for primetime and should be disabled it is too aggressive and more likely to cause a crash than prevent it. You can disable by pressing the button in the middle of dash see pic below |

I can visualize coming up on a ladder, a 2 X 6 piece of wood or something in the roadway (even a pedestrian) and I make a quick needed action without having my turn signal on to avoid hitting it, and get pushed right back into it. |

I have the steering assist turned off and the car is still pulling. Once was when I was approaching a toll booth where there are 15 lanes and another on a long windy one lane open road with a huge shoulder just screaming to take advantage of...

I have the car now and mine works fine, I mean yes it does what is should but does not prevents me from moving lines. Once you use turn signals when you changing lanes it will work well. I guess this is a way how European carmakers encourage American drivers to use turn signals as they are nutritious not using them |
