Appreciate the response. I am going to select the spare.

We will have the third row seats down 98 percent of the time .

Twenty days?! M3 customers wait 20 days just moving from one parking lot to another, waiting for a carrier.

Congrats and enjoy.

Congrats! Makes me want one bad. Can you tell us how the rear cargo space behind the 3rd row is? When traveling we would need those rear seats and I'm curious how many suitcases would practically fit since prior gen X7 it was just small roller bags or golf clubs. Thanks.

the LCI X7 is the same size and cargo area as the pre-LCI. behind 3rd row is still pretty small for luggage.

Where's Jennifer (x7 lci lover) when you need her. I'm starting to appreciate this LCI . This car looks very good.

funeral hearse

Oh God. This is looks like a funeral hearse. No imagination on color selection. How drab. Don't understand the appeal of black wheels. To each his own.

LCI X7 definitely wears the new face better than the 7 series. Looks really tough, I like it.

Running boards would look a lot better if they were black. They stick out like a sore thumb. Maybe vinyl wrap them?

Damn, this grille looks oddly familiar to what I did on my truck. Lol. Love it. This should be standard on the x7 if it's not already.

Steering wheel

I just noticed your steering wheels seems to be the same as my pre lci wheel. In press reviews though the wheel seems to have an actual gap in the bottom spoke - see image. Do any of the lci cars have this wheel .

It would appear to me that the pic you posted with the different steering wheel is of the M model (I forget what it's called on an X7), as opposed to what OP has, which is an x drive 40i with M Sport. For example, I notice in your pic, it has an M logo on the dash, where OP's has X7. On the other hand, I may have no idea what I'm talking about!

Edit: I also just noticed in your pic, it appears to have the M style side mirrors, doesn't it?

That type of steering wheel is only found on the X7 M60i version of The Goliath. Not the X7 40i version.

Other minor differences that the M60i has compared to the 40i:

- M Sport side view mirrors
- Steering wheel as mentioned and it comes with the M color stitching.
- Ambient light bar on passenger side has M logo instead of X7 in the 40i.
- M badging on front grill and rear badge nomenclature.
- Marina Bay Blue only paint exterior available for M60i
- Spilt rear tail pipes
- Lastly, it has a 4.4 L Twin Turbo V8 producing 523 ponies/553 lb/ft torque
