Hello, can these be custom ordered with the M in gloss black instead of chrome?

These appear to be stick on. Any idea how to remove the factory ones?

The emblem is deep into the housing so to remove it to paint may damage the side markers.

From our understanding these do not replace anything already on the car so they just stick into place.

If you have an M60i with these already on the car then these emblems are the same ones that come from the factory.

Adding Side Fender M Badges to a US Car

I’m reviving this old thread as I just picked up my custom-ordered 2025 X7 M60i last week. As our US built cars don’t appear to get these from the factory, I want to add these but I have a few questions:

1. Are these OEM parts or aftermarket?
2. I assume these just stick on like the rear emblems and fit right up against the current door trim, no?
3. Is the gloss black finish on these badges a perfect match with the gloss black M trim on an M60i?

Thanks for the help, hope these will work for my new ride

1. Genuine OEM BMW
2. Correct, just like the installed photo, these just peel and stick.
3. As a genuine BMW part, the gloss black finish should be identical to the gloss black finish on your M60i.

BMW should just have included this part on all X7 M60i models.
