Winter Tires Set - 2023 X7 M60i TPMS
I am shopping for a winter set for my M60i. The parts department at my dealership is saying that i have to go with the approved winter set they have ( 754 with Pirelli Scorpion Winter ) as the LCI models have a different sensor.
Does anyone know if this is true and whether i can use the older BMW winter set ( 752 ) ? Last edited by X7_Canada; 09-23-2022 at 09:56 AM.. |

sensors for the 2023 are :
36106877937 I asked getbmwparts and they did a lookup by my vin, and those are the sensors for a 2023 X7.they are also the same sensors as for 2022. very likely the HUF RDE077V21 will work for the 2023. they are cross compatible with a few bmw sensor part numbers including 36106877937.

You can try ordering a wheel and tire package from tirerack or the BMW ones. These are the approved one we have in Canada for the X7 LCI

Pro: more wheel designs to choose from and you can control the cost Vs the BMW approved winter sets Cons: I can’t really think of one. I read a lot of positive posts here about tirerack packages |

Winter Tires Set - 2023 X7 M60i TPMS
Are separate rims a must-have for you? Personally I've never gotten dedicated rims to be mounted to my winter tires; I always have the dealer swap and mount the rims between my summer and winter tires. Sometimes I feel like I'm in the minority doing that but I always get rims I really like and like my cars looking the same all year round.
I also keep the stock staggered tire size in my winters. I usually order them on TireRack with each new vehicle. X-Drive does an excellent job allocating power appropriately. I feel like an unstoppable tank on my country back roads. |

thats what getbmwparts (tischer bmw) told me were the tpms sensors for my car, verified by vin. 2023 X7 they could be right, depends on what sensor they used for the winter tire set and if the sensor is cross compatible. i ended up getting the HUF RDE077V21 as they are cross compatible with all of the recent bmw sensors.

My dealer ordered the 752 winter package for my 23 M60. He asked for my year and model after I told him the part number. Parts guy said yes, it will work. Order was placed but maybe I need to go back with my VIN to have them verify? Would hate to get the wheels and it not work...

Update: I just got off the phone. I gave my Vin to verify if 752 would work. The answer was No. They are processing a refund. The only option showing for X7 LCI currently is the 750 wheel with 255/55/20 Continental. That would not work with the M60 according to him so no options lol
