Upon reading your comment, I reviewed the incident, and I can now see that Raikkonen was first hit by Verstappen, because of Vettel's move. But I don't think what Vettel did was unusual for a start from the pole, and it appears that VER prematurely moved too far over to avoid VET, plus he could've backed-off - which would've been the right thing to do, but no way VER would ever do that!

Indeed ... I don't think many viewers realize how deep/late Danni Ricci can take it when needed. I can't wait to see him in Red.

Pretty much ... Seb didn't have an issue with the move; even rebuffed the question that it was due to Max being young ... stating that it's a move that someone with 300 races might try.

I did like how Brundle explained a couple times that when it looks like a driver is closing a door in the midst of taking a corner, they're not looking at their mirrors; but concentrating on the apex.

It really is incredible. It makes it seem like the passed driver is out for a Sunday stroll, when clearly they are trying not to be passed.

I liked hearing what Paul DiResta had to say about Ricciardo...."He's the best overtaker in the paddock."

At that moment, I wouldn't expect anyone would try to overtake since the opportunity window is gone.
Even VET said he left a bit of gap just in case, but apparently its not enough.

Also factor in he has a better "car" at that moment with fresher tire, and sensible opponents (BOT) to fight but leave just EXACT one car width. Knowing he will be overtaken anyways.

Having said that, it was enjoying to watch Daniel overtake!

In the 2017 season..."According to data released by tyre supplier Pirelli, Red Bull driver Ricciardo made a grid-best 43 passing moves during the 20-race campaign despite retiring six times."
On another passing note (in another racing series), did anyone here see the passing move Sebastian Bourdais made last weekend at the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach? Pretty neat.
