Outstanding! As you'll see in other threads, I'm also trying to determine the other half of that issue, the installation, how extensive people are finding it, whether they need to remove or at least adjust the rear bumper.

Those part numbers are for the 40i trim.

The 50i have different part numbers. Hope this helps.

Do you have the 40i parts yet? How about the chrome strip on the trunk?

Yes we carry those parts for both the 40i and 50i.

We are unable to get the chrome strip yet from BMW to paint. We are still working on getting it.

I’d be all over this. What’s cost for the black exhaust tips for a 50i? And I look forward to picking up a black version of the chrome strip!

My dealership quoted me $235 a piece for the 40i.

I ordered mine weds from IND and they were at my house today. $470 for the pair on 40i. IND is as good as Amazon Prime if not better. Got black roundels for trunk and hood to complete the chrome delete. I'll post some pics next week. Chrome strip on trunk is an easy gloss vinyl wrap- diy project. I did it in 30 minutes first week I had it along with tinting reverse lenses with similar product.

Sweet, looking forward to pictures. I've been debating whether to do the black roundels as well, to complete the blacking out. On the other hand, leaving them with the blue would also complement the blue M-sport brakes for a little bit of accent color.

Blue is still there on these rondels, it's the outer chrome ring that's black. So the black around the letters B M W just continues to the edge with no chrome. Very subtle change.

Ah, interesting. The ones I've seen are all black and white, like this:

Looks to map to G05 X5 on realOEM. So I guess the exhaust tips are the same between the G05 and G07.

Yes, I believe the 40i uses the G05 tips, but the 50i has different numbers.

Here are the official instructions but I believe there is an easier way that some of the G05 folks have mentioned.

Vehicle currently sitting at dealership and they are claiming the ones ordered do not fit with no ETA from BMW/HQ on ones that may fit.

Can someone confirm the part numbers for 50i M-Sport or M50i gloss black exhaust trim?

That is what I provided but they're having fitment issue. I am curious to know if they ordered incorrect part or if there is a genuine fitment issue. Thank you for confirming.

I would not put it past a dealer that they either ordered the wrong part or did not install it right. BMW has pretty good factory procedures (which are available on the internet for anyone to see), but their techs don't always know how to follow them - especially if it is a repair or installation they are not familiar with. Case and point, when BMW first released their M Performance Height Adjustable Spring kit for the M3/M4 suspension, multiple dealerships installed the the rear springs incorrectly - unbelievable.....
