Oh my gosh!!! Its working now! I would consider myself an extremely tech savvy person, but this is crazy... so, if you look up the bmw connected app in the play store on android, then click on then app, it only gives you the choice to open or uninstall. BUT, BUT, dont click on the app and in the search listings really small on the right it says update. Why is it like that I have no clue. I wasn't even looking to the right side. Usually you click the app and it if it is updateable it will say that or open. My baud rate must be really high and I click on things too fast. Whatever. It works now! Yipee. Lol

Hooray!
Miracles do happen - a BMW remote-start on an Android App! Maybe - just maybe - we will also see the Alexa-integration on the X7, too... |

Generally a good idea to uninstall and reinstall on your phone whenever you come across some buggy crap. This, bounce of idrive, and restart of iPhone has resolved connectivity issues for me here and there, albeit only temporarily on occasion.

Climatize now works for me, it confirms it is successful. But no place in the app does it show you if the car is started. Am I missing something? I think it would be nice to know if its started and also to turn it off, which I don't see either.
