It no doubt follows the upcoming series X7 closely, but the seating configuration and roof will not make production as shown here. Also, this is powered by a fuel cell drivetrain that won't see production in current form, and perhaps not at all.
Should be very intresting to see this concept. Alot of news coming up.

My money is still in this leaked picture back in December 2016 on how the production will look like. The picture matches the window trim and pillar shape.

Is that truly a leak, or just a third party render?

Either way, sure, I'd say it looks reasonable based on what we know from spy shots and expected design cues from the latest BMW SAVs and sedans such as the G01 X3 and G30 5 Series.

Sept 8th? Was it revealed already?

Looks a lovely pano roof there. See how long and wide that centre console is between front seats. Could sit a passenger there or do your ironing on it!

I was lucky enough to see the press release on the intranet today, the concept is fantastic, has some new features and some borrowed from the 8 series. That sunroof is superb, it's inspired by Rolls Royce.

Yes, grilles are indeed oversize, but on this model, it fits. The interior is minimalistic, but won't say more, wait until you see it.

Looking forward to this one but that transmission tunnel needs to get a lot smaller . Also this gives hope for captains chairs, something hard to find from european SUVs.

Captain chairs would be nice. What SUV offers them? I have only seen them in vans.

I like how BMW made the current x5 smaller than the previous generation(the one I drive) to make 'room' for an x7 in the market place.
