2nd set of wheels for winter.

Hello. I am new to the forum. Sorry if this is a repost. I am placing an order for a 40i with 22” msport wheels. I would like to get a 2nd set of wheels and winter tires. Has anyone bought a 2nd set yet? Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

I'm looking too. Tire rack has a decent looking rim for about $245 each. I'm thinking of going with 20" wheels and 285/50-20 blizzack dm-v2.

I have 19" winter wheels from my x5, haven't tried to see if they fit yet or not. Anyone know if the bolt pattern and hub bore are the same?

Bolt pattern is 5-112. Thanks for all the suggestions!

Winter tires? Not trying to hijack the OP's thread, but this is something I've never had to deal with in the past, but now I have a question for you guys. We (the wife & me) are planning to take a trip starting around the first week of October. We will be traversing from the equatorial climate of northeast Florida and traveling to the upper peninsula of Michigan before turning west into Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota, Montana, to Bozeman, Montana. We'll turn south to West Yellowstone and then head east through the park continuing on to Sturgis and then Grand Rapids, SD. From that point we'll probably head back home. I am pretty sure we'll encounter some freezing temps at least at night along the way. Is taht something I need to be concerned with considering I have the 22" run-flat Conti's? We could always drive my F-350 but this is one of the reasons we bought the X-7. Opinions? thanks.

I live in South Dakota. You should be fine the first week of October other than if you travel in the through the mountains. It is rare to have anything significant that early.
