X7 M60i Matte Stealth XPEL ppf Wrap Completed

I wanted to post some photos of the finished product of my X7 with the matte ppf installed. I am loving it on the Skyscraper Grey in Matte!

It looks good! They did a clean job on your PPF install. You just need the front reflector delete and you'll be all set.

Do you have a link? Searching is spitting back pages and pages of stuff, none of which are relevant.

Not sure, I was super lucky to find some folks that care about what they do. Which is extremely rare in the times post Covid.

I installed the painted reflectors on the X7 recently and it’s not that easy. I had previously did the install on my X5 and it’s a little easier because there’s more room behind the reflectors after you heat the adhesive and push it back and away from the bumper. IND has a DIY video on how to swap them out on an X5 without removing the bumper. The install is exactly the same on an X7 but there’s limited space behind it. The tricky part is putting back the painted reflectors without scratching it. The best way to put it back was trim the tabs behind the reflector and slide it into the cutout. Driver side took me 90 minutes. Passenger side only took 30 minutes. I recommend using a steamer with a nozzle to loosen the adhesive instead of using a heat gun. You won’t damage your paint with a steamer and the steam not only helps loosen the adhesive but it gets wet and doesn’t stick to something else as you’re trying to get it out from behind the bumper.

It's gorgeous. I am also considering a similar spec for 2025 model. Enjoy it!
