Secure the trunk.

In my Jeep Wrangler I have a simple Mopar cargo net that was designed to secure to the position of the ring locks in the floor of the trunk. Does BMW or aftermarket make something similar for the X7? What are folks doing to secure things in their X7 trunk?

Thanks,
Ken

Mine came with a net for the back. I don't have a spare so I keep it in the underfloor storage compartment in the back which nice to have.

Do you know if the dealer put the net in or was it from the factory? Mine didn't come with one.

Mine came with a net too.
I would assume it came from the factory.

I didn't ask for it so assume it came from the factory like the little rear pillows.

I also have a 2015 JKU and have a cargo cover to hide things when my soft top is down but haven't felt the need on the X7.

Here's a thread with the manual on the factory net: https://g07.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1613591

It looks like the supplied net is really just a cargo partition if you have captain's chairs.

Not sure if you could use the 4 floor mounting points you have with this same net, I'd imagine not. It would be nice to have a nice high tension flat net in there like I had in my 4 series GC (the one on my M3 is not nearly as useful). Of course, it would only work with the 3rd row down. I can't imagine anything factory or aftermarket would come out for just behind the third row, better off just getting some storage bag/dividers if you wanted a solution for that.

I have the bench 2nd row and that is probably why no net.

I have the bench second row and mine came with the net. I believe it was part of the package that came with the Spare tire/NON Run Flat tires.

I have the bench and run flats and the net. I would ask your dealer if they can get it for you want it.
