BMW X7 M50i 2020 Model

Hi Everyone,

I recently bought a new BMW X7 M50i model 2020 (Around a week ago) and I have been facing multiple issues:

1. After moments of driving away from the dealer I noticed an issue with the upper driver speaker, I reported the issue next day and it was replaced by the dealer.
2. While driving, the iDrive info system restarted by itself.
3. Sudden Camera failure.

Did anyone experience such issues and if yes how it was resolved?

If this is a brand new car then why haven't you reported all of these things to the dealer? You have a warranty, that's what it's there for.

Knock on wood. 1 week in no issues outside of owners not completely knowing all there is to know about said vehicle.

The car is with the dealer as they are doing a thorough test and waiting for their feedback, the reason that I am reaching out to this forum to check if other owners are facing similar issues to what I am experiencing.

I've had mine for a few weeks. Immediately had an issue with the rear most passenger speaker and have had camera malfunctions on multiple occasions. Spent last week at the dealer, got it back Friday with both items "fixed". Both issues have reoccurred. Planning the next visit...

OK, those are probably more general issues with at least two of the three software related.

When I read the title, I was thinking you were referring to specific issues on the M50i (i.e. power-train).

I have a 2020 40I. The camera malfunction has been an ongoing issue. I randomly get a black camera malfunction screen when it is in reverse & sometimes when parking. After 3 attempts to repair they replaced my 2020 40i with a brand new one. The new one is having the same camera malfunction issues. Let me know if you find a solution to this issue
