Upgraded X7 Vilner Leather interior

Bulgarian custom interior company has made a custom leather upgrade on an X7. I figured this would interest those of us that think the 2nd row center floor plastic piece looks and feels a little cheap, as their interior includes a leather upgrade for that piece as well.

If we could get them to at least offer that piece for aftermarket sale and delivery, I think that would make a nice upgrade for many of us.

There's more pictures in the article in the weblink.

That piece basically drove me off the captain seats since when I asked the dealer he said it can't be removed

Your dealer is an idiot, of course it can be removed/replaced. However, the captains chair configuration without cup holders is not an "official" BMW configuration so you, as the owner, will need to get creative if you don't want cup holders with the captain chair option. A dealer will never (well almost never) recommend a non BMW approved modification. The base X7 center console has additional parts for two different configurations - one with cup holders and one without. There is another thread in this forum that provides detail on how to do it. The only catch is that the cup holder parts may leave additional mounting holes in the carpet, which could probably be covered with a floor mat.

Thank you, thou it's about late for me now.

I'm completely new to bmw and assumed there were some parts involved in coding or something when he said it can't be removed and advised to check with a third party if one does such Things.
