something's different with the tuning of this thing

same engine as the m340i but moving a house instead and only half a second slower?

must be increased boost with launch control as 5-60 is over 6s

Loving mine and seems like a great deal to have gotten a 40i with dhp, full leather and bowers for $100k. I priced out the x5 50e at $90k. Hopefully the next generation x7 will have a phev option.

Next Gen x7 phev = X7M. Sacrifice 3rd row for battery.

How exactly do you use the brake boost\launch control on the lci x7 40i? I can't imagine it can do 4.6 just flooring the throttle.

Edit - I did pull the left paddle. Did not see any message confirming boost.

The old Butt dyno concurs with that 0-60. The 40i is a dream to drive. We just got ours last week.

Sorry, but I was born in the early 70s, and as such, it's really 8 is enough. Hence, the M60i.

i was born in the 60's. I just ordered the 60i - probably last V8 I will ever buy! In 7-10 years when I am ready again everything likely will be EV or H2/EV

I went with 22s on my '22 X7 and powder coated them....in hind sight, should have went with the 21s. Just the other day bent my rim on a pothole that normally shouldn't have been no problem. 22+ rims should be for folks that live in year round warm weather so no potholes to avoid. 🤣

Combined with the removal of all the climate buttons with the LCI (firmly believe this is a safety issue moving everything to touchscreens) and I think we now have to look at other options. Shame as we really like the overall X7 package. Size is just right.
I ordered my 40i In June of last year and got it in October with the DHP. I cannot imagine it not having it and suprised they removed it.
