Has anyone installed an M2CS exhaust on their M2C
I much prefer the sound of the M2CS and it seems like it mostly shares the same exhaust system as the M2C (everything except the rear muffler). Has anyone tried running a M2CS rear muffler on their M2C?

For any future visitors that might be curious, I went ahead and took the plunge. Can confirm that it is a straight swap, only foible is you need to cut the OEM exhaust pipes (much like an M Performance rear muffler install). Sound is great, much better than the stock M2C but more subtle than any aftermarket exhaust. Slightly louder than M2C but deeper and a lot more pops and bangs when the flaps are open. No additional tips needed as the M2CS rear muffler comes with welded on stainless steel tips.

To my knowledge, while they look similar on the exterior, no one has actually torn one open to confirm if the CS exhaust is identical.
I’m running an M2 CS exhaust on my Competition as well and I think it’s sounds much better. That said, this was after a disappointing experience with the AA Single Mid Pipe. I was planning to return to stock when I found a cheap CS exhaust listed on the forums. Since I was already paying labor, I figured I might as well give it a shot. At the very least, you get some nice tips. |
