thanks for all the input...I'm about to hit 20,000 miles and from what I read the extended warranty goes up in price then. Not 100% sure if we'll keep this past 50K, so just wanted to see if there were any M60i with high mileage. Given it's only been out a little over a year, 20k seems to the average, at least for owners here.

Good to see the M50i at +60K miles still holding strong with zero issues. Even though the engines are different, at least all the other bits like air suspension, IAS, DHP, etc are holding strong.

Keep posting...hoping to find a high(er) mileage M60i amongst us.

Our 2019 40i just hit 100,000 miles. I had the extended BMW manufacturer warranty just ended this week. Luckily last week I had the. Last inspection at dealership last week had to change water pump under this warranty.

[QUOTE=MystroX5;30572753]That’s great.
Any major repairs on the 2019 X7??

Last week I took it to the dealership for a detailed check up before warranty expires so they did change the water pump. 2 years ago they had to replace the starter all under warranty.

And since I’ve posted I’ve had the same tire patched twice (in waiting area now) and my rear sunroof shade is stuck open. Ha. But other than rubber and brakes, I think this is the first actual issue.
‘22 40i 29k miles and my rear sunroof stuck open too. Oil change tomorrow hopefully they will fix, otherwise no issues

We are at 97,300 on our 2021 x40i. We had a water pump replaced early on (approximately 10,000 miles). More recently, I had the driver's side lumbar bladder replaced and we had the rear air springs replaced because we were getting a clunking and creaking noise over bumps. The recent repairs were all under extended warranty which expires at 100K. Otherwise, regular service and wear and tear items.

Still drives like a dream, particularly on long trips.

BMW extended warranty? I have heard mixed reports on them warrantying the air springs. Glad to see you putting miles on yours!

Been reading about the transfer case noise. Apparently the first step is to replace the fluid with an updated/correct oil. Here is the TSB:

Third party warranty through the dealership. Charged a $200 inspection fee, but the repairs were otherwise covered.

I’m going through this process now with my Alpina.

I wonder if changes have been made to the new t-cases or will this be a “replace every 30k mile” item…

2020 X7 40i just turned over 55K yesterday. Regular maintenance only other than an armrest heater replacement and a failed front louver. All replaced under warranty within the first year. Nothing since then.

Knock on Wood....
