My sister gave me P90 for my birthday...I think shes trying to say something lol.

Im not posting pics until I get results because quite frankly im embarrassed of the way I look.

Im 5' 9" and 245. Well see where I end up.

I think i'm going to try P90x as well, but after watching the infomercials i'm not sure I want the end result (granted everyone has a different outcome), in the commercial they all look like over ripped meat heads, I just want to drop the fat and have nice overall muscle tone. I'm an IT guy, I don't want ninja turtle neck.

I'd say the biggest thing about any workout is what you eat. I've done the whole p90x and insanity but the one thing that made me look even better now than before is what I eat. The food I consume is a lot healthier and more organic than before. No more processed foods

Do lower weights at higher reps. Tony Horton makes this point repeatedly during the program that if you want more bulk/size, you use a weight that gasses you out at 8-10 reps. If you want to be more lean, then you use a weight that you can do 12-15 reps on.

Dno if its been posted. But I HATE YOGA. Is it alright to take out yoga and just replace is with uphill cardio? Or do I have to do yoga to get p90 results?

lol you need to learn to love yoga. You don't want to have muscle imbalances and flexibility issues. I do yoga once a week. You actually benefit a lot from it but you never really see the results. It's very progressive.

Flexibility goes a long way. Plus working on all those small microfiber muscles that will make you sweat buckets.

Update

I was going to update once complete with round 2 but I decided to share my results now. Im currently on my 11th week of my 2nd round of p90x. Went from 200 lbs to 160 of muscle. I had a 16% BMI and currently at 5%. Waist went from 35 to 28. I will definitely be doing round three! I will post results after round 3.

yoga def sucks balls at first but after a while youll soon to love it. i always feel so refreshed and pumped after that yogaishhhh :] after all those legs+back workouts youll be in a lunge yawning. LOLL
