They are accepting pre orders in US for $1000. The dealer will then call type to configure.

If we're one of the biggest markets for the vehicle why wouldn't we get to config sooner than anyone else ?

I was looking forward to the G05. Now I'm like Meh. Seems nice.

This one I had ZERO interest but I see these pictures and configurator and I am drooling.

It is a shame it will not fit in my garage and I can't park it outside (Chicago city). FML.

Interior quality is highly impressive. Right there with the Range Rover.

Just built mine on the UK site, but it looks like the picture shown is actually an X5. Looks a lot smaller than the 7. But still...an idea of options. Thanks for the heads up.

Yeknow,

I never really saw the point of this vehicle as I like my BMWs small and compact, and would look at first Land Rover then MB for something 'big', however looking at the pictures on BMW.CA it truly looks beautiful in detail and evokes reminiscence to Daniel Craig Bond films with the colours, lighting and luxury.

Never a bad thing when as a fan your reaction changes from 'why' to 'proud'

I'm still worried that we've only seen pics of the full leather interior. wonder how much cheaper the lesser options look.

Is it just me or is the interior almost identical to that of the G05?

Maybe I'm missing something but for me the G05 is a more handsome car than this larger, boxier X7 (don't get me wrong I still think it looks great)

Not sure it will fit in my garage either but street parking is ok so looks like wifey goes to the street and I get the garage. Added benefit of buying this

What if you get mad one day and bang that gear shifter, will it break the glass? Thats the question. Just a thought.

Seems that'd be tough to do. Would have to have a rather heavy and hard object with mass hit it at the right angle to shatter crystal like that.

I'm sure BMW has looked into this. Speculation, but I think it'd be easier to break one of your glass windows than that crystal knob.

Is it actually glass?!

I think if that happened my anger would turn to shock, then which would subside to laughter and amusement at the absurdity. Unless I cut my hand and there goes the leather seats oh no
