Anyone had a hands-on with the BMW „virtual cockpit" ? It looks kinda weird to me, and the way it portraits speed and RPMs seems a little awkward.

This is the reason I'm having a really hard time deciding to try to black 19's on my F16..or are they 20's. Nevertheless I found myself in Big Boy Toys looking at 22's and 24's. I just want proportion.

I can't even afford this car and all I can think to say is BMW take longer...we've only been hearing about this forever. There's been closed door events for showings of the concept car going back to early last year and it still hasn't been revealed. The funny thing is that the end product will be more or less the GLS silhouette with a BMW front and back, combined with the interior of the m850/ new X5. So what's the hold up???

Saw the preproduction X7 tonight at a BMW event in Malibu. Very nice. Love the new idrive 7 cockpit.

All these people seeing the X7 in person. Would somebody please check out how the 3rd row seats fold down or otherwise stow, for more trunk space? Do they stow flat? Something else?

There were so many people going in and out of the car that I didn't get to see how the seat folded down but from the looks of it they had electronic controls in the trunk area for the seats and the 3rd row had deep floors so once lowered the trunk space area will be flat like the x5 cargo area. But that's just a guess.
