I agree,it was a very thorough review. There was a bunch of features that i didn’t know the X7 had.Makes me even more excited to take delivery of my X7.

Saw my first one in the wild today - dark blue with blacked out grills. Looked really good and smaller (more compact) in real life.

This is a valid criticism IMO, if I'm waiting more than 2 seconds for the car to do anything it stops being a luxury feature and becomes a pain in my ass. I always hated my E92 seats that insisted on slowwlllyyyyyy sliding themselves forward and backward to let people in the back instead of just letting me slide them quickly. Especially when you're stopped by the side of the road, when it's raining, cold, etc. just hurry the damn hell up!

I'm sure they make these seats move slowly for safety, to help the motors last longer, etc. but it's something that honestly irritates me.

This vehicle will sell very well to every family where the minivan debate can now move forward without looking back. Nice job, BMW product planners and engineers.

Agree with the above comments how nice this vehicle is. I just saw one at a nearby dealership but can't get over how huge that grill is. From everywhere else the car looks nice, interior is top notch

Now we just need BMW to enter the minivan segment so we can buy a $100k minivan and we're all set.

It'll likely be FWD, and to keep in line with previous recent weird naming conventions, it'll be called the 8 series active tourer

I've grown tired of his reviews. His driving section is always boring. I've found i just watch for all his quirks and shut it off. I'm waiting for The Straight Pipes review; a much more entertaining review.

Didn't watch the vid as I'm not interested in the X7
However, when the reviewer says "the best", I assume he doesn't mean the best looking!!?? Give me strength, it's 'orrible

Does anyone know if there is a net in the trunk that goes up to the roof, maybe something like the storage package. Trunk is small with 3 row unless 3rd row folded but then what prevents things flying from the trunk during high speed braking?

Interesting that you should ask that, as I was just looking at that in the owner's manual.

"Embarrassingly huge" just can't get around it, it's always there. Other than that one huge design flaw, very nice.
