The X7 does use the B58 and you can always tune it get a nice boost of power.

Test drove both a 40i and 50i over the weekend. Whoever said the 40i was underpowered was sorely mistaken. The 40i has MORE than enough power for just about any purpose, even before you put it into sport mode. The 50i just has mad excessive power. I think anybody but the most power hungry gear heads will be plenty happy with the 40i. It's good enough for me.
