2025 Orders, production and delivery Tracker

I think we have a few forum members waiting for their 2025 orders so I thought we could start a thread to track. Mods: if there are similar threads already, we can consolidate or delete this but if not, maybe we can make a sticky.

I will start first:

- X7 40i order fairly loaded with DHP, B&W etc. (107k msrp)
- Order placed on 3/15 for week 14 allocation (April 14 2024). Status showed "production scheduled"
- Status to "production begins" on 3/19
- F12 shows prod date of Apr 3, 24

Hope to pick it up by Apr 10 as my dealer is only a 9 hrs drive away from the plant

I also have a fairly loaded X7 40i ordered.
- Ordered about three weeks ago
- 3/14/2024 Status 112 "Scheduled for production"
- 3/19/2024 Status 150 "Production begins" with VIN assigned
- 4/2/2024 Expected Production Date.

Order placed March 15 for a week 15 build. Hope mine gets pulled ahead by a couple of weeks as well.

-2025 X7 40i
—Tanzanite Blue II Metallic, Cognac Sensafin, Anthracite Poplar Matte Wood trim
—M Sport, M Sport Professional, DHP, DAP, Executive, Climate Comfort, Parking Assistance, Running Boards, Spare

Both our kids are in child seats, so the SA recommended skipping leather. Their butts wont touch the surface for the foreseeable future, so we went with Sensafin.

Got 8% off MSRP, plus $1k incentive, so total 9-ish %. Negotiated two other dealers down to 10%, but neither had April allocations, so went with this dealer despite the lower discount. We have a family trip coming up in June and I wanted to have the car in hand at least a month in advance to familiarize myself with it.

I’m excited to be here! This is my first BMW, coming from over 15 years in various Audis. My current car is a 2014 Q5 Prestige, supercharged 3.0 V6 with a stage 1 ECU and TCU tune, which makes about the same power as the X7 but in a much smaller package.

P.S. If anyone is interested, I’ve attached the 2025 pricing guide.

Amazing build! I started with premium + B&W+glass controls but changed my mind and asked them to make it exec but it was too late and build was already locked. You will like Sensafin! I had it on my X5 and after the initial smell is gone, cannot even tell it is not leather. Very soft and practical.

Alternatively, my dealer has offered me 10% of the MSRP for almost an identical 2024 X7 M60i in Frozen Pure Grey (Ultimate Pack) which is already in stock. This one was heavily discounted (cheaper than the 2025 above, even with the very expensive matte paint color option). I have decided to stick to 2025 because I don't want to spend a huge amount of money to PPF the whole car to protect the paint. It made no sense to me.
wow 9% on M60i is amazing! I didn't think they would discount this much especially in Europe

Thanks. I believe it depends on BMW dealer.

I ordered a 2025 X7 M60i in Carbon Black Metallic with just about EVERY option available (minus the crystal headlights). I added the B & W stereo at the last minute based on forum feedback, and I think I’ll be very happy that I did. I have a Week 17 allocation, so I hope to be in the car the first week in May.

I’m coming from a 2019 Porsche Cayenne Turbo as I need the 7-seater with a tow hitch, and while I know this won’t match the performance of the Cayenne, I think it will be the best option for a 7 seater that will still haul a** when I smash my foot down

Thanks, only getting the Executive package for the massaging seats, otherwise Premium would have been perfect. My Q5 has heated and cooled cupholders which I’ve used less than 5 times since I got the car.

Just ordered 2025 X7 M60 in carbon black
22 inch wheels

Can anyone comment on how much of ride comfort difference is there between 21 and 22? The X7 on the lot had 21 inch wheels?

I havent driven them both but I always go with the smallest wheels that look good to me. The 21 M wheel look good to me so I went with them and no doubt they are more comfortable than 22s.

Several people at the forum have commented that there is no difference between 22" and 21" alloys at X7 regarding the ride quality. However, the optional Executive Suspension provides better experience for bumpy roads with potholes.

Sometime over the past few days, my ProdDate was changed from 4/2/2024 to 3/28/2024. So if you have one nearing production this week or next, check the ProdDate with F12 and you might be pleasantly surprised.

Looking at the Glass Controls option in the configurator, I noticed that there’s an extra toggle next to the height adjustment. I assume it’s an old photo that BMW never updated. Does anyone know if it was ever in production and what it was for?

It is interesting. Looks like it came with early X7s with the off-road package (ZOR) and it has to do with offroad mode.

Cool. I wonder if that mean yours will be a 2024, since 2025 production was supposed to begin in April, or will they just begin 2025 production a few days early. I wouldn’t mind getting a 2024 model and keeping the extra cash.

It'll be a 2025. I can't imagine they would change the model year just to move it up a few days.
