BMW CCA Member Rebates

I have known about the BMW CCA for years, but I never bothered setting up a membership despite having 5 BMWs back-to-back. Had I done it six months before I bought my XM, I would have received a $1000 rebate. There are four different member plans including a lifetime membership, but the three-year plan looks like the best deal.

Moral of the story? Make sure you become a member at least six months before your next purchase/lease.

Never done it before either but submitted mine last week. Got an email a few days later saying it all looked good and has been passed on to BMW NA. Apparently it takes 2-3 months to get the check from them. I’ll report back when I get it it.

I was walking my dog earlier and ran into a BMW CCA event in my neighborhood. Completely forgot all about it.

Been a member since first BMW. I think I have saved over $5000 dolllars because of it!

I would’ve saved $3000 on my last three vehicles alone - two of which were in 2023.

I have been a member for few years, got all my rebates since then. Even on the XM.
It does took 3 months to get the check.

VirtualGuitars not sure if it still valid, but if you signed up for multiple years, they can accept your past few months of purchase.

If you signup for the three-year (or more) plan, you have to wait six months before you qualify for a rebate. If you elect for the one year plan, you have to wait 12 months.

Yea, just read their term. Seems like they changed it.
A few years back, I talked to them during Bimmerfest event, the rep says, sign up now for 3 years and I will be eligible on the purchase within 60 days prior to sign up.
Maybe it was their trick to get people to signed up.

I wish that was still the case since I will have had my XM Label for 60 days on December 20th. I’m really kicking myself for this because I’ve known about this organization for at least 5 years and I never bothered signing up.

Got my XM rebate a few weeks ago. Would have gotten it sooner, but it got complicated with my firtst XM getting swapped out. I think that stalled my original rebate when corporate did the paperwork check on their end.

I had to reach out to BMWCCA and provide them the second XM paperwork and they pushed it through manually to corporate.

Not quite my friend. You only get 1 rebate per calandar year. However, it’s definitely worth it. I’ve been a member since 2010 or so and have received several thousand dollars back in exchange for a yearly subscription that’s around 60 bucks. It’s a no brainer.

Thanks for pointing that out. It’s not typical of me to buy two new vehicles in the same year.

Well, now I don’t feel so bad. That means I only lost out once on my XM Label in 2023. Not sure why it wouldn’t qualify, the iX M60 can cost up to $122K US. Perhaps full EV’s are excluded?
