No but the b&w in my 7 series is a similar set up to x7. Disappointing to say the least. No mid woofers (3rd speaker on door) and no real sub woofer in car. I wouldn’t opt for the $3400 option. Id rather spend $$$ aftermarket

Just picked up my wife's X7. Pretty much blown out with everything but off road. It was 10% off of MSRP and the dealership was amazing. There may have been a little more room, maybe, but I doubt it. If so then they deserve to keep it because the experience was just that good. Best experience I've ever had buying a car.

Came froma 2018 Xc90 that was lemon in 11 months, it's not a very engaging vehicle to drive but definitely comfortable on trips.

Base model X7 price was the same as my T6 Inscription with Polestar. One thing I hate about Volvo is their service. Feels like a chevy or honda service department.

It's can be a very nice car for some but those that's been in german cars won't like it. They tried to be the Ikea of luxury cars.

Nice, did you get it from the dealer I told you? This room just looks so familiar.

YES! I just couldn't deal with the service. They've made a premium car in hopes of being a luxury brand, but they fall very short when it comes to service unfortunately.

Between you and aw9nineteen now I'm thinking I'm going to need to place my upcoming X7 order at y'alls dealer. East coast, I'm assuming.

My only frustration is that I live so damn far from the dealership. Would love to get the free car washes once a week...

I feel your pain. My dealer is a 105 miles from home and requires me to drive through both Seattle and Tacoma traffic which is some of the worst traffic in the US.

There are no dealers where I live.

Sweet. I'm coming back from working overseas, and don't know yet where I'll be geographically when I place my X7 order and take delivery. Would still love to do a PCD, if I can make it work. So I might need your dealer info, one way or another, to place the order. (if it's the VA/DC dealer I'm thinking of, I've had a good experience there in the past)

Newbee to the thread. Always been a Benz guy. However, I placed my order on a 2020 X7 M50i a few weeks ago and the dealership gave me $2,000 off of MSRP. The MSRP came out at $117,000 because I got everything except B&W and Rear Seat Entertainment. After reading some of these thread comments I think I definitely did not get a good deal. Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks!

Mf markup as common practice?

I would place a build order in November and current offer about 9-10% off before incentives but almost all dealerships in my local area expect to mark up mf. Checked leaseheckr and found mf markup very common even on these high discounted model with 20%+ off. MF markup is now key performance index for dealership? How much additional discount I should ask in exchange for max mf markup on this $115k build? From lease calculator, 0.0004 markup add approximate $3000 cost for this 36mo lease. Am I right?

Well, you only ordered it so far...

$2K off is a VERY good deal.....for the dealer.

In the final two weeks before your vehicle arrives, shop around and have your other local dealerships (you can even go State-wide) compete against each other. Send them a copy of your configuration and ask for their best price, then take the best offer and show it to the dealer when it's time to seal the deal. Tell them to match it or you will walk (at $2K off, that's certainly what I would do if that's the best they are willing to offer).

Guys quick question, I've never lease a vehicle before but is considering on doing on the X7.

I'm thinking about doing a 3 year 15k lease.

Most cases, at the end of the term, you can negotiate the buy out price. Wouldn't it make sense to lease and negotiate a lower buy out at the end?

Also, when you apply for a loan at your bank, is it the same as a new car loan rate?

Lower buyout/residual at the end is certainly not what you're hoping for in a lease. The higher the residual is, the lower your payments will be, if the car is not worth what the residual is at the end of term, you could basically count that as a win/the bank's loss (although most attractive lease deals are through the manufacturers banks so of course they're never losing).

You wouldn't negotiate the buyout at the end of term on the lease, instead you would be making an offer on the car you just handed back on lease, at an amount lower than what your residual is. This process has been getting more convoluted, though, you would want to discuss it with the dealer before you end the lease because it might not always be attractive to them (they could just process it and send it back into the system). Either way, you would be buying a used car at this point if you're looking at taking to be able to keep the car.
