What’s something you NEED right now, but cannot afford?

I want to be able to get to a point where I can afford retirement, but then start doing things I enjoy doing.... or experimenting with industries just out of interest and to see how it is, without the pressure of NEEDING to work.

For example, I want to try being a car salesman just purely out of curiosity. I can see myself doing that in retirement. If after a month I hate it, I have the freedom to simply quit.

Agree with the first response: we already have all we need. And then we go out and buy superfluous things, BMWs.

New fence needed soon on the south side of the property. Would prefer a wall. Then I would have walls on 100% of the property. Hopefully my southern neighbor will see it the same way as me. And yes, I can afford it.
