Wasn't there a DIY thread on soldering your own alarm or something? I didn't read it just saw it as I was flipping thru them.

Appreciate it, i jumped on ordering one as soon as i saw the price cheaper than the dealership. im slapping myself for not researching it a little more and getting it for that price. i even noticed tischers selling it for like $268 now, and before i ordered mine on bavauto, im convinced it wasnt on sale on the tischer site just a few days before when i was looking! I spent $291 from bavauto. could of almost saved $60 bucks and used that money to fill my tank

I didnt catch that one, i did find the diy just with the oem install if thats what your talkin about. It seems so easy to install. Most difficult part is prob just removing the cover under the wheel well and mounting one of the sirens. All that is required in removing maybe 8-10 screws and mounting the siren bracket, and it doesnt appear that you need to drill the holes to mount it so it should be so simple. Everything else is plug and play and easily accessible. Should be an easy install for anybody looking into getting an alarm just pick a good day to do it and take your time in doing it right. 45 mins- an hour should be the max an install like this should take. Il deff let everyone know how the install turns out. Im looking forward to it.
