Back of Front Seats
Does anyone know why some of the lower backs of the front seats are the same color as the upholstery vs black plastic? Does it matter if it is a 2023 vs 2024? I don't see it listed as an option on the configurer on the BMW website. TIA

Maybe it's a glitch with the configurer because it is showing as the same color with extended merino as well. When I almost got a 2023 with extended merino, it had a black plastic lower half. When I build a 2024 with extended merino, the back of front seats are the same color as the seat. I was wondering if it was a 2024 enhancement or just a configurer glitch. It makes it look much more premium with the color matched front seat.

looking at the configurator, it looks like sensafin gets black plastic seat backs, extended or full merino get upholstery colored seatbacks.
my 23 with extended tartufo merino has tartufo colored seatbacks.
