If you don't need the passenger space, an X5 might be easier for the climate control to manage.

Thanks for the review. I just purchased and was inbetween a beautifully spec’d carbon black 60i or the 40i, and went with the 40i (head won over the heart). Was tempted but hard to justify the $20k premium for the V8. I still might’ve went with it if it werent the lack of proper tires for the Northeast in the 60i models.

Congrats. Good choice. I just spent 1 hour to travel 6.4 miles in Manhattan in comfort mode. Avg speed was 6.2 mph. Can’t imagine what it would be with the v8. Actually this is a daily thing in December, probably due to an influx of tourists for the holidays.

I’m trying to trade in my ‘23 40i for a 60i because A) it’s a rattle box (though wife doesn’t hear the rattles I do) and B) probably going to be our shared driver for a long time so might as well go big engine and fun.

I am worried about that throttle/low down torque observation though. I drove an M60i through a parking lot and it was absolutely clear that at those speeds it wasn’t responsive as the 40i.
