Wrong OEM Air Filter?

After searching through this forum and tons of different parts suppliers, I’m seeing if anyone can help out in pointing me to the correct part or if the factory installed the wrong pwrt. I ordered what I thought was the correct engine air filter for a 2023 x7 x drive 40i but when I went to install it, the housing and filter were a completely different size. Part supply sites also keep on pointing to the OEM part which won’t fit into my car. I’ve attached the filter that’s installed in my car.

best is to check with dealership on correct part.
Also isn't this filter covered under maintenance?

Yeah, I was putting out feelers here before taking it up to the dealership. I’m US gov overseas in Germany so while the car is US spec, the maintenance plan is not covered here. Just 2 years Euro warranty and remainder stateside

the LCI has a new version of the b58, the TU2.
p/n is 13715A24FB2 (you can see this printed on your original filter, top line of text, broken up)

the pre LCI with the older B58 uses:
13718577170
im guessing this is the filter they keep recommending?

( in terms of the parts catalog 13 is fuel preparation, 71 is the intake silencer/ filter element, and the rest is the part number specific to the model)

That’s exactly it!! Much appreciated for your help. Never ran into an issue like this before for other cars so it was somewhat frustrating.
