What kind of deals are people getting on leasing?

I'm in the latter part of my E90 research and seriously considering leasing one by the end of the year. Just wondering if dealers are offering lower lease rates than the ones I'm getting on the calculator at BMWUSA.com. Thanks all.

i have a 06 325
i paid 1437 TOTAL out of pocket at signing
and 580/month including taxes
for a 24month lease at 10,000 miles a year.
check my signature for my options
i asked on this board if people thought that was a good deal. one guy said it sounded very good, the other guy said it sounded high, i have no idea anymore

Check out www.leasecompare.com. I got a MUCH better deal through them than through my BMW dealer.

cdheaven, your deal sounds fine to me. did you buy at Vista Motors? I got an X3 there last summer.
My 330i (Auto, Premium,Sport, Cold Weather, Navigation, Radio Prep) is $729 a month including the high 10% DC tax for 24 months, 12k miles. $1743 total out of pocket (comprised of $750 security deposit, 1st month and registration fees). This is based on the car with a buying price of $500 over invoice. They offered to waive the security deposit since I am a previous BMWFS customer, but doing that raises the money factor so I said No Thanks. The money factor already isn't very good since this is a new model (well newly restyled).

BMW NA has a deal for 3.25 Automatic Transmission for $399 a month and 3299 down for 10K miles a year and 3 years I believe.
I dont know the catch with lease compare but giving me
$689 per month for
3.30
Sport/Premium/Steptronic/Nav
3200 down
2 years
12K miles per year.
Sounds good to me.

In general lease compare can give better deals, but when I put in the numbers for the 330, it wasnt really any better than thru BMW.
Lease Compare (at that time at least) seemed to be using a pretty low residual, causing the payment to actually be higher than BMW.

There isn't any. They don't give you an unbelievably phenomenal deal. They just (right now) give you something that is better than what BMWFS is willing to do.

06 32i, Titanium Silver, premium package (dakota grey leather), Steptronic, Xenon and sattelit wiring.

$539 per month for 36 months with 15,000 miles.

Zero down, only first months payment plus licensing fees.

Interesting... Since me current car is also a lease with BMWFS they waived the security deposit, but did not raise the money factor. The dealer qouted me the same MF as on the "Ask-a-Dealer" thread here for a 330i (0.0025). However I ordered a 300xi and the numbers on those leases are not "official" yet, but he was expected it to get better over the next month or two. Since I will not be actually taking delivery till November he is going to give me the "best" rate from the next couple of months.

Right now the number is $694/month for the car listed below (without the ZSP, which I added latter, which raises the payment to about $705/month by my own calculations). That is for 36 months/36,000 miles. No money down (only need to make the first payment and registration fees when I pick it up).

They will not however lease in New York or CA because of liability laws, so if I want a true lease (and not a ballon payment loan) then I'm stuck with BMWFS. In fact BMW is still one of the few car companies still leasing cars in the state. I actually saves me a considerable about of money since I'm only paying the sales tax on a portion of the car (rather than the whole car price with for a $43k car at 8.25% adds up to something like $2000 !!)

Sorry my bad... The following is quoted from the website when I entered a NY Zip code:

------------------
Due to vicarious liability laws, our lenders no longer offer leasing in the states of New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island and Maine.

Vicarious liability laws dictate that an accident victim can sue the owner of the vehicle for damages, regardless of whether or not they were operating the vehicle. By law, the "owner" is defined legally as the person or business whose name is on the title. For leases, the name of the financial institution providing the lease is on the title. Click here to write a letter to help save leasing in your state.
