Hello all,

I have a dilemma... I currently have a MWM w/m-sport and black 755m on order. I decided to go with the Coffee brown leather, but cant make up my mind on the interior trim. At the moment I have the “fineline stripe brown” but the “ash grain black wood” looks so good....... am I making the right choice? Im currently in Italy and the X7 are very rare here to view in person... TIA

What tones are you trying to bring out in the interior? Some like a lot of brown hue and others might want to accent in a more neutral like piano lacquer. It’s so subjective. Fine line is very brown.

I recommend you look at Anthracite-Brown Poplar Matte Finish Wood. I was on the fence with this until I saw it in the vehicle. This looks really nice with coffee.

I agree with CruiseControl

I have that in mine and it's neutral so it will bring out tones in any color leather. Very beautiful. And matte is so easy to keep clean.

+1 on matte trim. I have the ash black wood and I think it's best looking trim. I wish coffee interior was available with captains chairs. Tartufo was a good 2nd choice. Btw - I have the mineral white exterior too.

Does anybody have the Fineline Black Trim?? I hear alot of recommendation on the matte, but not the gloss...

I've seen it in person, and think it does look good. If I was going gloss, it might be my top choice.

Im currently in Sicily, Italy (military) and ordered the X7 for delivery here in Europe. Dealers here dont have any X7s in stock as they usually dont sale large SUVs

I have the Mocha with Fineline and it’s fantastic. Just the right amount of chocolate to coordinate with the leather and deep brown/black accents.

Awesome! Sigonella? I've flown through there a ton as a pilot, especially when I was stationed at Ramstein. Good memories of sitting on the balcony, watching lava flowing down the side of Mt Etna.

I think you'd be happy with either the fineline black or ash grain. Both are beautiful. The fineline would be your solution for a glossy trim, with the fineline striations. The ash grain would be your solution for a matte trim, with the random wood-like inclusions.

My personal take, I love the ash grain and will be going with that one.

Go for Ash Grain Black Wood Matte! It's such a nice trim. Take a break from the traditional glossy wood trim for a bit

Fineline is my favorite (no surprise since I have it). I imagine it would look nice with the coffee—no wrong choices, which is an excellent problem to have
