Road hazard coverage

Anyone have a positive experience with road hazard coverage paying for a new tire? Specifically, for the 23" tires on the XB7

https://bmwusaservice.com/tires/roadhazardtirecoverage

Eligible tires:
Replacement BMW original equipment (OEM), original equipment alternative (OEA), secondary plus (SEP), winter (WIN), purchased on or after February 1, 2018, and winter tire and wheel packages (WPK) purchased on or after April 1, 2020. WPK is replacement of tire only and does not include the wheel.

I bought a new set of 23" Pirelli P Zero's and given these only last 12-15k miles, the road hazard can really come in handy (free/no added cost, it's included when you buy and install tires at the dealer)
Typically I would never buy tires from the dealer, but they were much cheaper than 5 other tire shops I checked with
