Vredestein/Wintrac-Pro Tire?

Looking to purchase an X7 with 21” wheels and these tires - anyone have experience? I do not live in a snow climate but do occasional snow driving 1-3x per year. Would I be better suited to an all season? Thanks

You need to switch those tires out to either all-seasons or summers when it gets above 40 anyways. So whether you want to get a second set of wheels for the warmer months or just scrap the tires and get all-seasons that's up to you, but you can't run those all year.

i run the wintrac pro- in warmer temps it gets squishy, and likely is wearing faster.
the wintrac pro is a performance winter so its not using the very soft compound like a snow and ice tire, but its not the best tire to be driving on year round.

for your use case i would go with an all weather tire

better snow performance than a regular all season, but still an all season that you can run year round.

We run the Quatrac pros, they seem great so far. Didn’t want to deal with swapping, and we still get the 3 peak rating.

I know you’re asking about Wintrac but wanted to add a note on this alternative.

Thanks - would be I advised to driving on these in warm temps until the tread wears out or should I immediately buy a set of all seasons?

Winter tires have longer dry/wet stopping distances, especially as things warm up.
